All Ireland Schools Championship at Edmondstown. Success for The Heath's Chloe and Shannen.
Chloe and Shannen won the Senior Cup at the Midland District Schools Qualifier in Roscrea in March and so qualified for the All Ireland Schools Championships at Edmonstown Golf Club, Dublin on the 27th April. As the format of the competition is a team event (two GROSS aggregate scores )It was no surprise that the All Ireland was won by Leona and Lisa Maguire. However, our girls played their hearts out and Chloe won the INDIVIDUAL gross and Shannen won the INDIVIDUAL nett. It was a great day for The Presentation School, Portlaoise and, of course, the Heath Golf Club. See photograph from the event in the Gallery section of this site.
