The
8th hole requires a very long tee shot
as this hole is normally into the wind.
Hitting this fairway, which is quite
wide is essential if you are to make
a well-earned par.
The second shot always plays longer
than the markers suggest and you will
need an extra club to reach this slightly
raised green across the ‘Valley
of Sin’ with three enormous bunkers
left and right. The green, which slopes
from back to front right provides a
difficult test of putting and a two-putt
is always good here. |
